Therapeutic support for adults and couples in NYC and beyond.
Working with people to understand themselves better, heal from emotional suffering, and address the areas of their lives they feel called to change.
My Approach
The therapeutic process allows patients to explore the truth of who they are, but it is when a therapist joins them in that process that they begin to feel less alone in that truth.
My approach to treatment begins with cultivating an authentic, safe, and collaborative relationship through respectful curiosity. I firmly believe that feeling seen by another person without judgment helps establish safety and trust within the therapeutic relationship, and that a positive therapeutic relationship is at the heart of any successful treatment.
If you ever feel unsafe, unheard, or unseen, I invite you to let me know. As your therapist, I will follow your lead while also providing structure and bearing witness. Together, we will work toward emotional growth and deeper insight into your thoughts and feelings, while identifying and enhancing a sense of meaning in your life through building connections.
My therapeutic style is person-centered and integrative with a relational focus. This means the therapy room is a co-created space, shaped by both of us, tailored to you. I draw on techniques from psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I incorporate humor and creativity into the work when it serves you. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, because I have never met two people who were the same.
I believe therapy works best as a partnership. While I bring clinical expertise, you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll create a safe, permission-giving space to ask hard questions and find a sustainable way forward.

What Brings People to Therapy
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons — recent stressors, past traumas, relationship struggles, or simply the feel that something needs to change. I strongly believe there is no issue too big or too small, and that every person, regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, or diagnosis, deserves to be treated with dignity and given access to effective care.
